How Bizarre

Managed to pay the insurance premium today by borrowing from two people, just for a few days cos Rags is paying me tomorrow – Woo Hoo!

You say money isn’t everything
I’d like to see you live without it

She’s such a sweetie. If I hadn’t got into Heaven my work issues would have been completely solved cos she’s starting a company, a branch of an American one…

BUT Heaven happened! Finally, got a definite date, got my ticket rebooked today, for the third friggin time, and will be at the Pearly Gates soon…

Spent the day at the ex-house today, wanted to lock away my books and movies. Sorting through stuff… this is where the sad background score is supposed to kick in, a close-up of a finger running over names on a white wedding card… but all I could think of was the hungama that card caused – doomed from the bloody beginning. Hid it with my stuff to spare him hearing the background score, but on second thoughts I should keep it as a friggin reminder, look at it every time I think of letting someone in!

Also found an old diary, smelt of cat piss. (Side note: The cat is doing extremely well, has recovered miraculously, last day of drip tomorrow, think he used up three lives this time.) That was when I discovered that mother had slept with the blind author. A poem scribbled at the back, wonder who wrote it.

Went out with the Bipster yesterday – we actually talked about depilation – GRIN! Eyebrows, moochies – the works! She almost had me pierce my eyebrow… no, I wasn’t chicken, the rings were too thick and would not have looked nice on my sweet, delicate face :P And if you don’t believe me you can ask her. (Bips – remember the ‘D’ word!)

I’m getting addicted to someone, quite missing my daily dose this evening.

Your love is like bad medicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up, just like bad medicine
There ain’t no doctor that can cure my disease

You know that song ‘How Bizarre’? It’s the song that always plays at pubs and discs, I don’t think anyone actually hears it in their homes or cars or at work. Took me a long while to even figure out that they were saying ‘How Bizarre’. I think that’s all they say, can’t be sure though cos am always quite drunk by the time it plays.

It occurred to me that that’s the perfect way to describe everything, the good and the bad. Good fortune, bad luck, freak accidents, chance meetings, love at first sight, sudden heart breaks, strangers helping you pull through, friends abandoning you, THE BLOG WORLD!

K nuff, I’m high on endorphins and random thoughts could roll without end...

Aaadddiictteddd ... I see!
Someone missing from your menagerie,
Just when you find you are moving on,
Do you hear that bizarre background song?

Pearly gates of heaven call,
Friendly hands will break your fall,
And if again you confuse this for that,
Remember the fate that befell the poor cat.

*Ok... I am bordering on nonsense verse now... just when I thought I'll never get it!*
