Sugar Coated

Thought of a corny way to sum up the whole situation. Corny, but also kinda funny – and where would we be without humour to tide us through the tough times?

Am reminded of one of my favourite stories. The one in which the young monk asks the Wise Master, ‘But Master, will there be singing in the sad times?’ and the Master replies, ‘My son, there will be singing about the sad times.’

And so, here it is, without any apologies:

I wanted to give you the doughnut, but you only wanted the hole.

*CJ ducks to escape brickbats.*

hehe, just didn't know whether to laugh aloud or cry. :))

Well, Mastah was right...
One should always concentrate on the cream, the rest of the doughnut is mostly a hole. :))

*is in hiding to avoid getting hit by brickbats sent CJ's way. :P
